Established in 1969 by local entrepreneurs, Robert and Kathy Dinham, Scissors is Macclesfield’s longest-standing high fashion salon. Relocated by new owners Paul Roberts & Diane Key in 1985, Scissors has continued to flourish in its new home on Samuel Street ever since. Expanding to encompass ever more services and stylings, Scissors can now boast of a complete Hair and Beauty offering. Catering to men and women of all ages and all styles, Scissors is the place to go find your style and embrace your beauty!
The Scissors Team frequently attend training courses delivered by Wella, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Patrick Cameron. In-house training is also supplied Diane Key, who also trains up and coming hair stylists at Macclesfield College.

‘I’ve been in the Beauty industry for 12 years, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I specialise in skin care, nails, waxing, aromatherapy massage, Indian head massage, make up and much more using the most up to date advanced professional products available.’
‘I work to keep abreast of new trends and cutting styles in an aim to transfer them down to an ‘easy to maintain’ at home style for my clientele. I use the Goldwell colour range and have attended the KPSS Mayfair academy to further my hairdressing repertoire. Alongside creating a bespoke cut and finish for my clientele, I enjoy doing colourwork and learning new techniques.’
